About the Person
Lisa Escudero is the Vice President of Human Resources at New York Genome Center. Ms. Escudero has over 20 years of experience in leading all aspects of Human Resources. For the past eight years she led Human Resources for American Standard Brands, a $1B revenue corporation with 5,500 employees. As a member of the leadership team, she served as a strategic business partner to the CEO and peer leadership team members and guided them in understanding the human resources implications of their business decisions. Her areas of expertise include talent and performance management, leadership development, employee relations, compensation and succession planning, organizational design and change management. Prior to joining American Standard Brands, Ms. Escudero was Director of Human Resources for Merck & Co for 18 years where she supported client areas within the research and manufacturing areas. She began her career as a research scientist for FMC Corporation`s Agricultural Chemical Group where she spent nine years as a biologist. Ms. Escudero holds a B.A. from Rutgers University and an M.S. in Human Resources Management from Rutgers University School of Management & Labor Relations.
