Leslie W. Joyce, Ph.D., Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer, and Vice President Human Resources-Americas of Exide Technologies, will oversee Human Resources activities across Exide`s worldwide operations, including talent management, leadership and organizational development, compensation and benefits and labor and employee relations. Dr. Joyce brings more than 30 years of diverse Human Resources experience to her role at Exide. Prior to joining the Company, she served at Novelis Inc., most recently as the Senior Vice President, Chief People Officer. Before her tenure at Novelis, Dr. Joyce was Vice President and Chief Learning Officer for The Home Depot. Earlier in her career, she also held positions of increasing responsibility with GlaxoSmithKline, and served in senior Human Resources roles in both public and private sector companies. Dr. Joyce holds a Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from North Carolina State University and also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
