About the Person
Len Jillard is the Chief People Officer and Corporate Vice President for APMEA Region at McDonald`s Corporation since November 2014. Prior to that, Len served as Senior Vice President, People Resources and Chief People Officer of Mcdonald`s Restaurants of Canada Limited since December 20, 2005. Mr. Jillard began his career 33 years ago behind the counter as a crew person at McDonald`s in London, Ontario. After working through all levels of restaurant management, he held a number of mid and senior management positions throughout the Canadian operation including Regional Director of People Resources. Mr. Jillard took his extensive McDonald`s Canada expertise abroad, where he spent three years, from 1995 to 1997, with McDonald`s Mexico as the Senior Director of Operations. After returning to Canada, he was then promoted, in January 2002, to Vice President of the Western Canada Region. He has always made it a priority to dedicate his time and expertise to McDonald`s charitable efforts, serving on the Ronald McDonald House in London, Ontario for more than seven years and as a current Member of the Society for Ronald McDonald House Vancouver.
