About the Person
Laura Hamill is Chief People Officer at Limeade. Laura is the founding Chief Scientist of Limeade and co-architect of the Limeade Well-Being Assessment, the first and most comprehensive well-being assessment model. The assessment is often the starting point for personalized and evidence-based employee improvement plans. In her role, Laura leads the People (Human Resources) team and consults on product and analytics strategies. Reporting directly to CEO, Laura is responsible for nurturing the Limeade culture of innovation, developing groundbreaking people practices, and architecting employee engagement strategies for Limeade and its 100+ enterprise customers. Laura specializes in applying behavioral science to the workplace. She is experienced with implementing culture change, creating competency models, crafting effective acquisition and integration strategies, and conducting employee research. She has worked with Fortune Best Places to Work for and Fortune 50 organizations on all of the above. Laura comes to Limeade with more than two decades of HR expertise from Allstate, Bell Atlantic (now Verizon), Microsoft and her own consulting business. She earned her Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Old Dominion University and a B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
