About the Person
Lain Hancock serves as executive vice president – human resources for Dr Pepper Snapple Group. He is responsible for the company’s human resources organization and leads DPS’ efforts to attract, develop and retain the talent necessary to win in the marketplace. Lain joined the company in 2007 as part of the supply chain organization, where he focused on establishing processes to improve safety, product quality, service and productivity. During his time in supply chain, Lain served in several senior leadership positions that included supply chain strategy, manufacturing operations and procurement before joining the HR organization as senior vice president in 2012. Prior to joining DPS, Lain served as an aviation branch officer for the U.S. Army and more recently as a consultant with McKinsey & Company. Lain holds a B.S. degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Keller, Texas, with his wife, Lynn, and their two children, Dan and Kelsey.
