About the Person
Kevin A. Wissman is the Assistant Director of Athletics and Human Resource Specialist at University of Massachusetts Athletics, effective August 31, 2015. Wissman joined UMass Athletics after serving as Human Resources and Organizational Development Manager with UMass Auxiliary Enterprises. He coordinates and oversees all new hires and implements human resource policies for UMass Athletics. Wissman`s been a member of the UMass staff since 1998 and has worked with Auxiliary Enterprises since 2002 where he managed and coordinated 3,000 employees. During his time on campus, he`s been responsible for managing and preparing payroll, managing labor relations issues, analyzing training needs to design employee development and enforcing university policy and procedures relating to all phases of human resources activity. Wissman earned his degree in managerial resource economics from UMass in 1998 and resides in South Deerfield.
