About the Person
Kerrie Maitland is the Senior Human Resource Business Director and Senior Vice President at Santander Bank and is responsible for developing and implementing the people startegy for a number of Business Divisions across the Organization. Kerri has more than 15 years of experience in Human Resource of which 8 years has been within the financial industry. Kerri has a generalist HR background which has been complemented with project opportunities in Talent Management, Engagement and Recognition. Kerrie joined Santander US in 2011 and after participating in one of the Groups international mobility programs which aims to share best practice across the Santander group. Kerrie first joined the Santander group in 2005 in the UK and was involved in the HR integration and rebrand of the UK business into the group. Prior to joining the bank, Kerrie held a number of HR position with VT Aerospace, a UK Aerospace company. Her last position with VT Aerospace was HR Development Manager. In this capacity Kerrie was responsible for leading a team of HR professional in the delivery of an HR Consulatncy Service and for managing all aspects of training and development. Kerrie started her HR Career with American Express Bank. Kerrie received a Master in Human Resource Management from Bournemouth University UK and also a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Sociology. Kerrie lives in metro Boston area.
