About the Person

Kathryn Goodick is the Director Human Resources at SwervePoint.   Since joining SwervePoint in March, Goodick has made significant contributions to increasing the company`s compliance, standardizing processes, providing counsel and support, and laying the groundwork to make engagement, corporate culture, communication, and coaching the drivers of SwervePoint`s business.   Goodick has many years of experience in human resources, supporting both small and large companies such as Parker Brother Games, RISO, Lupoli Companies and Chyten Tutoring. She has a bachelor`s degree in business administration and a minor in human resources from Salem State University.   Goodick is a lifelong resident of Gloucester, and has become a strong advocate for the residents of her city, challenging city officials to take a more fiscally responsible approach to city and school budget matters. She was motivated to become more involved in city issues early in 2015, when residents received heavily increased tax bills based on votes by the City Council to shift debt to the homeowners of the city. Her passion to protect the taxpayers of Gloucester from runaway spending by city officials led her to form the Gloucester Citizens for Responsible Government, a grassroots group committed to creating a more responsible city government.
