About the Person
Karen is responsible for ensuring that Fanatics` business strategy is supported with best-in-class talent strategies by overseeing all human resources programs for the company, including recruiting and retention, career development, performance management as well as compensation and benefits. Having close to 20 years of global experience in a variety of industries, Karen joined Fanatics from Amazon, where she was most recently a Director of Human Resources for the Digital Device organization. During her seven years at Amazon, she served in a variety of leadership roles in both the retail and digital divisions, including also leading human resources and recruiting for the company`s new initiatives team, which launched three different v1 products in 2014. Prior to joining Amazon, Karen held several human resources leadership positions with Washington Mutual (now Chase) in its corporate and retail divisions. She has also worked as an HR leader across various business functions at Dell, Microsoft and Capgemini. Karen, an honors graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, is a lifelong sports fan with a routing interest in the Cowboys, Spurs, Rockets and, of course, her alma mater Texas Longhorns.
