About the Person
Juan K. Cunningham is assistant vice president human resources for Norfolk Southern. He is a native of West Palm Beach, Fla. He earned his bachelor`s degree in management at Grambling State University and in 1973 started his railroad career in the engineering department as a management trainee. Cunningham served as a track supervisor. Later he moved to HR as a recruiter. Since then, he has held several positions in HR and was named to his present assignment in 2010.
