Joyce R. Phillip is the Chief Human Resources Officer at University of Maryland Faculty Physicians Inc.   Prior to that, Joyce served as the Director of Human Resources at University of Maryland Faculty Physicians Inc.   Previously, Joyce also served as the VP of Human Resources at Anne Arundel Medical Center.   A native of Ohio, Ms. Phillip received her RN diploma from Freedman's Hospital School of Nursing (presently Howard University School of Nursing), a BA in English from Bowie State University and a MA in Liberal Arts from St. John's of Annapolis.   She served as a member of Society for Human Resource Management and Secretary of Maryland Hospital Human Resources Association.   A graduate of Leadership Anne Arundel, Ms. Phillip has also served as Chair of the Workforce Investment Board and Volunteer Vice President of Human Resources for the YWCA of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County.   She has been on the Board of the YWCA and a member of Women of Color Scholarship Selection Committee.
