Located in Northern California between San Francisco and Sacramento, Vacaville is a community of nearly 100,000 people. Vacaville Unified serves nearly 14,000 students from the suburban area as well as a significant rural area north of the city. More than 10 years ago VUSD embarked on a strategic planning process to achieve the mission of graduating ALL students with knowledge and ability to make good choices, act responsibly, earn a living and continue learning throughout life. After several years we are seeing the positive impact of completing many strategies and spreading the planning process to our sixteen schools. This focus and commitment, together with the outstanding talent and dedication of our teaching and support staff, will enable our students to accomplish wondrous things!
