About the Person

John Spenard was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer in February of 2015 and leads all programs that support and advance the interests of its people across the enterprise and in partnership with the HomeServe global leadership team. John first joined HomeServe in 2012 as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining HomeServe John served as the Senior Vice President for Human Resources for ProBuild Holdings, a multi-billion dollar private manufacturing and distribution organization. Prior to ProBuild Holdings John served as the Vice President for Employee and Labor Relations for CEMEX, a publicly traded $15 billion dollar global manufacturing conglomerate. John has also held human resource leadership positions in the energy field with Exelon Corporation, National Grid and Niagara Mohawk Power. John brings over 20 years of broad and progressive people leadership experience to HomeServe emphasizing strategic talent and leadership development, safety, total rewards, communication, and employee and labor relations. John is former Chairman for the Edison Electrical Institute’s Employee and Labor Relations Committee and has served on the member of Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations advocating environmental, educational and athletic interests. John holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial/Labor Relations from LeMoyne College and a Masters of Business Administration from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University.
