About the Person
John Fox is the Executive Director of University of California Human Resources for the Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources, effective October 1, 2015. John will assume the responsibilities of the consolidated human resources organization. John comes to ANR with extensive experience working with Office of the President HR policies, issues management, benefits and training programs. He has over twenty years of progressive leadership and human resources experience with the University of California. For the past five years, John has served as the Executive Director for UC Office of the President Human Resources, where he led the development of a new model for HR service delivery, focused on strategic partnerships to drive organizational goals. He is currently serving as the HR lead on the Office of the President`s UCPath implementation Steering Committee and is an active member of the UCPath Center Advisory Committee. Prior to serving as the chief HR officer for the Office of the President, John held a number of leadership and project management positions in Universitywide Human Resources, including Director of HR Policy, Chief of Staff to the Vice President – Human Resources, and trainer/writer in Benefits Communications. John is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley.
