About the Person
John W. Denman has been appointed as Vice President of Human Resource Operations of J. M. Smucker Co., effective July 16, 2014. He served as Assistant Controller of J.M. Smucker from May 2005 to July 2005. Prior to that time, he served as Chief Financial Officer, Canada since May 2004, and Assistant Controller from June 2001 to April 2004. Mr. Denman has been with the Company since 1979 and has held a variety of key financial management positions within the Company. Prior to being Assistant Controller, Mr. Denman held the position of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Smucker Foods of Canada, the Company's Canadian subsidiary. Mr. Denman, a CPA, holds a bachelors degree in accounting from Ashland University.
