About the Person
John Cummings is the Vice President Global Talent and Development at the Brink`s Company. In this role, John leads the talent assessment, selection, development and deployment of the top 200 executives at the company and provides thought leadership for talent acquisition and development across the company. Prior to Brink`s, John has provided strategic leadership in the Talent, Learning, Sales and Operations functions across major industries with the Seagram Wine Company (Beverage), NTD- Bell Atlantic (Advertising), and Bristol- Myers Squibb (Pharmaceuticals). His areas of expertise include visioning, strategic planning, driving execution, building high performing teams, working within a matrix, and Learning and development. John is a results oriented leader who utilizes a “POAM (Priorities, Outcomes, Activities, Metrics) based” approach to every situation. He has a unique ability to mobilize teams and brings a pragmatic, action based style to his functions. He holds a bachelor`s degree in Business Administration from the University of Delaware. John lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and is expecting his first grandchild.
