About the Person
Jo Stoner is the Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Vice President at Informatica, reporting directly to chief executive officer, Sohaib Abbasi, where she is responsible for designing talent strategies designed to attract, develop and retain world-class talent around the world. With thousands of employees in nearly 30 countries, the global HR strategies focus on higher engagement building Informatica's reputation as a great place to work and providing a learning environment where employees can learn, grow and have a long and successful career within the company. A 20-year HR veteran, Stoner's experience spans industries, geographies and company sizes. Stoner has evolved Informatica's HR functions around the world to develop and implement best practices focused on employee development, engagement, retention and performance. Additionally Stoner is responsible for Informatica Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts. Stoner joined Informatica in 2001, overseeing HR operations in EMEA and later serving as HR director for Asia-Pacific, Japan and the Americas. She previously held HR management positions with British Telecom and startup FirstMark Communications. Stoner received an Industrial Economics degree with honors from the University of Nottingham in England and holds a postgraduate HR certification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
