About the Person

Jim Tysinger after serving nine years as Director of Human Resources for Davidson County, retired May 29, 2015.   A graduate of Lexington High School, Tysinger first served in the county`s employment training department, now called DavidsonWorks, for 11 years before taking a job in HR at Lexington Home Brands. In 2006, he left the company and returned to the county to serve as its HR director.   After retiring, Tysinger said he still wants to continue serving the community in whatever way he can.
