Endeavors is a nonprofit that connects vulnerable populations across the United States to a wide range of helpful services. Our Mission Endeavors passionately serves vulnerable people in crisis through our innovative, personalized approach. Our Story In 1969, several of San Antonio`s inner-city churches banded together to launch “Urban Ministries,” to help meet various needs within the local San Antonio community. Eventually, this program expanded in scope, reach, and geography, to become Endeavors®, a national, innovative nonprofit that serves as a model within an evolving behavioral health and social service landscape.

Membership is open to all, with financial assistance available to those who cannot afford it. This year, the LA Y helped 1 out of 3 member families with financial assistance. We cannot do our work alone, extending our work with over 200 community partners across the county, including schools, hospitals, clinics, cities and other civic organizations.
