About the Person
Jennifer Ross-Carriere joined Mxi Technologies in 2009. As General Counsel and Vice President, Human Resources, Jennifer is responsible for the legal and corporate governance of the Company, as well as overseeing Mxi`s HR function. She also serves on the Mxi Board of Directors as its Corporate Secretary. Prior to joining Mxi, Jennifer most recently practiced technology and intellectual property law as Counsel with McCarthy Tétrault LLP and as Lead Ottawa Counsel with Cognition LLP. Through in-house counsel and executive roles, Jennifer has provided advice and counsel to a number of large and small, public and private clients in a variety of industries including software, security, biotechnology, wireless, e-learning, biotechnology, telecommunications, domain name, insurance and optical industries. Jennifer commenced her career as a litigator with Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP and Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. Jennifer has appeared before the Federal Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal and before all levels of court in Ontario, and has acted in various types of alternative dispute resolutions. Jennifer graduated from McGill University law school, and is a member of the Bar of Ontario. Jennifer is also a registered trademark agent.
