About the Person
Jennifer Boulanger has 18 years experience in talent acquisition as both a recruiter and a leader. She has built global recruiting programs to recruit top talent for high tech consultancies, SaaS and ecommerce organizations. She began her recruiting career in the late 90s, recruiting high tech talent at several recruiting agencies. In 2006, she joined Sapient, a top-tier tech consultancy, where she led globally matrixed recruiting teams in the US, Canada and India. In 2011, she was hired to build and lead global talent acquisition for Opower, a prominent VC-backed SaaS start-up in Washington, DC and helped the company complete a successful IPO in early 2014. Jennifer was headhunted to join Booking.com in Amsterdam, where she is leading global recruitment for 170+ offices and 80+ recruiters. She is currently innovating Booking’s recruiting programs to include global sourcing, employer branding, and data analytics to ensure velocity, quality and scalability. Jennifer has been featured in 2 podcasts and has been a guest speaker at SXSW, RecruitDC Talent Connect, HR Tech and The Job Post. She was selected as part of the inaugural “LinkedIn 100”, LinkedIn’s top talent acquisition leaders. She was also elected to recruit top technical talent for the 2014 Presidential Innovation Fellows Program at the White House. Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, VA. She currently resides in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
