For more than 40 years, The International Center has served Indiana as a catalyst for international growth and as a guide to the world`s cultural landscape. Our Board of Directors and our diverse and experienced staff are dedicated to growing our community as a key player in the global marketplace and serving as a window to the world –looking out and looking in.
Originally founded in 1977 as Centro Las Americas by Puerto Ricans to serve Puerto Ricans, CENTRO’s mission and the community it serves has evolved. It was quickly realized that all Latinos in the area could benefit from the services offered by CENTRO. That mission has evolved further as we serve individuals and families from North, Central, and South America. We also serve people from the African Continent, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
