Jeff is responsible for the strategic planning and programs that attract and retain the best talent for an array of Next Step Living green-collar careers and position the company as a premier employer. Before joining Next Step Living, Jeff was the chief operating officer of Peace First, a nonprofit organization that taught conflict resolution to urban schoolchildren in Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. He’s also held executive positions with The Cobalt Group and Nanoplex Technologies and served as an advisor to other fast-growing, entrepreneurial companies. Additionally, Jeff’s background includes developing programs for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection that catalyzed the growth of economically sustainable municipal recycling and helped secure financing for the $6 billion cleanup of Boston Harbor. Jeff holds a masters degree in public and private management from Yale University and a B.A. in political science from Williams College.
