"Ms. Pero is an innovative Human Resource executive experienced in bio-pharmaceuticals, bio-research/bio-devices, clinical trial, medical device, software/hardware and manufacturing companies. Her business expertise is in assisting emerging, fast growth companies to grow from pre-IPO to global half billion dollar businesses. Ms. Pero began her Human Resource career with Genentech Inc., managing and developing their benefits, compensation, information systems and employee relations programs. At Genentech, she developed unique benefit and compensation platforms for employee recruiting and retention which are still in use today. Following six years at Genentech, she joined a new start up venture with Nellcor Inc., which manufactures and markets medical monitoring devices. During Ms. Pero`s ten years with Nellcor, she directed their benefits, compensation, acquisition activities and HRIS programs for domestic and international operations. Ms. Pero was Director of International Human Resources while residing in the Netherlands. A unique three year assignment as Director of Marketing for Home Health Care products (an acquisition) resulted in a bottom line approach to her future HR services. Ms. Pero was several years with Autodesk the world`s leading supplier of PC design software as Senior HR Business Manager for worldwide operations. During the "".com era"" she worked for Commerce One, a leading provider of business to business e-commerce solutions as Director of Employee Relations. She was responsible for acquisitions, employee relations, training, and employee communications as well as an HR business partner for Marketing, Facilities, Finance, HR, Legal, and Business Development. Post “.com era” she was Director of Human Resources and Facilities at Synarc and Vice President of Nimblefish Technologies. Due to an acquisition at Columbus Foods she recently left her position as Vice President of Human Resources for Columbus Foods, a privately held company."
