About the Person
Mr. Jason Gardner is an Advising Founder of LionBird (Ventures) Ltd. Mr. Gardner is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Marqeta, Inc. He served as President of PropertyBridge Inc., which he co-founded in 2004. Mr. Gardner served as Vice-President and Member of MoneyGram International (MGI). At PropertyBridge and MoneyGram, Mr. Gardner led its long-term market strategies for multifamily real estate electronic payment processing. He also oversaw product research, product development, sales and marketing. He served sales management positions with leading technology and consulting companies in the Bay Area. He also founded Vertical Think. He served as a Director of Marqeta Inc. He served as a Director of PropertyBridge Inc. He served as a Staff Member for Senator John McCain, where he focused on community issues and served on the Japan External Trade Organization. He is a regular speaker at electronic payment industry events. He has authored numerous articles for industry trade publications. He earned his B.A. in Business and Political Science from Arizona State University.
