Jan Strohmeyer Brien, Ph. D., is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Human Resources Officer at East Jefferson General Hospital. She will oversee all HR management and human capital strategies at EJGH. The New Orleans native most recently served as Vice President of Human Resources at Ochsner Health System. Prior to her time at Ochsner, Brien also spent time as the Director of Client Services for Press Ganey, a global company in patient experience measurement and performance improvement solutions. Earlier in her career, she served as Director of Human Resources, Clients Services and Research at Advocate Health Care, located in Chicago, Ill. Brien holds a bachelor`s degree in psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi, a master`s degree in organizational psychology from Illinois State University and a doctorate in Social Psychology from Loyola University-Chicago.
