About the Person

Jacqueline Trapp is vice president of Human Resources for Edison International and Southern California Edison (SCE).  She is responsible for the company’s people strategy and all human resources functions including staffing, learning and development, succession and talent management, labor and employee relations, total rewards, diversity and inclusion, and client services. In her Edison International role, she is also responsible for oversight of human resources activities at the company’s competitive subsidiary Edison Energy Group. Previously, Trapp was director of Executive Talent and Rewards in Human Resources at Edison International, where she served as a strategic business partner for the company’s top corporate officers, providing Human Resources guidance to build business capabilities through talent acquisition, retention and performance management.  She led Edison International’s executive rewards, leadership development and talent planning programs, and was responsible for building and administering executive compensation programs, executive bench strength, succession planning and top talent development programs, including executive education, planned stretch assignments, coaching and experiential learning. Trapp brings more than 25 years of experience at SCE and Edison International to her current role, having served in numerous leadership positions of increasing responsibility. In Human Resources, she was accountable for the Information Technology and Business Integration talent strategy and implementation. Trapp also led Equal Opportunity projects and was responsible for managing employee communications. Within Information Technology, she held senior-level management positions in the Business Relations, Program Management Office, Applications Services and Infrastructure functions. Early in Trapp’s career at Edison, she held various positions in Procurement, Community Relations, Warehouse Operations and Employee Contributions. Trapp graduated Summa Cum Laude from California State University, Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in Communications.
