About the Person
Jackie Beard is the System Director, Talent Acquisition and Workforce Development for Norton Healthcare. Beard oversees all talent acquisition, workforce development and AA/ EEO activities for the organization and has a passion for developing people and education programs that grow the workforce of the future. Beard is a founding member and chair of the Health Careers Collaborative of Greater Louisville; a regional health profession collaborative set to identify potential health care workers and develop career pathways to meet the demanding workforce needs of health care institutions. She also serves as a board member for the Family Scholar House and a cabinet member of the Mayor’s 21st Workforce and Talent Initiative. Prior to Norton Healthcare, Beard spent more than 10 years leading national recruitment, college relations, relocation and succession planning for a Forturne 500 manufacturing company.
