The International Mission Board partners with churches to empower limitless missionary teams who are evangelizing, discipling, planting, and multiplying healthy churches, and training leaders among unreached peoples and places for the glory of God. Over 6,000 people groups - 1.7 billion people - still live with little or no access to the Gospel. We want to vastly expand our missions efforts for the spread of the gospel to every people group on the planet. IMB is an entity of the Southern Baptist Convention, the nation`s largest evangelical denomination, claiming more than 40,000 churches with nearly 16 million members.

charity: water

charity: water is a non-profit bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. Since 2006, we`ve funded 20,056 water projects in 24 developing countries. When complete, these projects will provide clean, safe drinking water for more than 6.3 million people. Nearly 663 million people don’t have access to clean drinking water, that`s one in ten of us. Diseases from dirty water kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. The good news: there are simple solutions, from deep drilled wells to water filtration systems. And with the help of 400,000+ donors and individual fundraisers, we`re forming a strong force against the water crisis.

Marijuana Policy Project

MPP, which was founded in January 1995, is the largest organization in the U.S. that`s focused solely on ending marijuana prohibition. MPP`s mission is to change federal law to allow states to determine their own marijuana policies without federal interference, as well as to regulate marijuana like alcohol in all 50 states, D.C., and the five territories. MPP has been responsible for changing most major state-level marijuana policy reforms since 2000. MPP is actually composed of three separate organizations — MPP, founded in 1995, is the main branch that deals with lobbying and ballot initiatives; MPP Foundation, founded in 1996, is the tax-deductible educational branch; and MPP PAC, founded in 2003, is a branch that donates to congressional candidates. In addition, MPP has state committees in the states where MPP is running ballot initiatives; these state committees are formed and closed every few years. MPP typically has approximately 40 employees, two-thirds of whom are based in MPP`s headquarters in Washington, D.C.; this includes a full-time lobbyist on Capitol Hill. In addition, MPP has lobbyists on retainer in a number of states capitals around the country
