Founded in 1985 as Galaxy Tool the company has grown exponentially, now employing nearly 200 individuals in our more than 90,000 square feet of modern manufacturing facilities. In 2008, Galaxy Tool was purchased by Gladstone Investment Corporation, a publicly-traded (NASDAQ:GAIN) business development company, and the majority shareholder of Galaxy Tool Holding Corporation, Galaxy Technologies’ parent company. The sale has enabled Galaxy to raise additional growth capital and become a leading competitor in the marketplace. In 2011, we changed our name to Galaxy Technologies.
