In 2005, when the founders of ADAR IT were pioneering cloud-based IT technology for small and mid-size organizations, it was a luxury only Fortune 500-level companies could afford. ADAR IT`s founders decided to level the playing field. Working together for seven years at Solus, LLC, a leading Chicago-based provider of IT consulting services, they saw that businesses were tying up tens of thousands of dollars each time they needed to upgrade IT, only to struggle for years with ongoing maintenance and unexpected costs. Each upgrade or fix consumed valuable resources and disrupted productivity. The ADAR IT team developed strong competencies in data center operations, virtualization technologies such as VMware, and storage technologies such as NetApp. The company then developed a way to deliver all IT infrastructure services (servers, desktops, backup, software and support) via an Internet-based, secure private network. In 2007, ADAR IT deployed its first PrivateCloud. This highly redundant system spanned multiple geographic locations and was scalable and flexible. The company has rapidly grown to serve clients around the world. Annual, profitable growth rate of 70% year over year was just the beginning. In 2014, ADAR IT announced a $2.4 million equity infusion from one of the Midwest`s largest venture capital firms, positioning the company for sustainable expansion to serve a global marketplace.
