Hope A. Hardison is the Chief Administrative Officer, effective Aug. 31, 2015. Human Resources will become part of CAO and continue to be led by Hardison. Hardison, Executive Vice President and director of Human Resources, assumed her current role in September 2010. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing people strategies to support Wells Fargo`s business objectives, as well as the management of compensation and benefits, human resource service centers, systems and payroll, finance, team member relations and assistance, talent management, learning and development and diversity for more than 270,000 Wells Fargo team members. A 22-year veteran of Wells Fargo, Hardison became head of Compensation and Benefits in early 2008 and was responsible for managing benefits, executive and team member compensation and mergers and acquisitions. She also managed international team member compensation and benefit programs. She has held numerous finance, strategic planning and compensation roles since joining Wells Fargo in 1993. She holds a bachelor`s degree in economics from Swarthmore College and has done graduate work in applied economics and statistics at the University of California, Santa Cruz. An active member of the community, Hardison serves on the board of Upwardly Global, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping skilled new American immigrants gain recognition as a valued source of talent.
