About the Person
Holly Rotkowitz is the Director of Human Resources for New Jersey American Water, the largest investor-owned water and wastewater service provider in the state. In this role, she is responsible for the delivery of all human resources services which includes among other things: staffing, labor relations, employee relations, EEO/Affirmative action and diversity, performance management/ development, leadership development and succession planning for employees of New Jersey. Rotkowitz also serves as head of Human Resources for American Water`s Northeast Division, which includes New York American Water. Rotkowitz has more than 15 years of experience in human resources. Upon joining American Water in 2012 as a senior HR business partner, she provided strategic HR expertise to employees across multiple functions in the company`s Business Services organization. In 2014, she was promoted to Director of HR Services where she oversaw the quality, service delivery and financial management of the company`s HR service center, benefits administration, leave management, organization and position management, and core HR administration. Rotkowitz holds a master`s degree in counseling and human services from Montclair University, and a bachelor`s degree in sociology from The College of New Jersey. She is a Senior Professional in Human Resources from the Society for Human Resources Management.
