Hartford is the capital of the U.S. state of Connecticut and the historic seat of Hartford County until Connecticut disbanded county government in 1960. As of the 2010 Census, Hartford`s population was 124,775,[1] making it Connecticut`s fourth-largest city after the coastal cities of Bridgeport, New Haven, and Stamford.
Henry Burgos served as the Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations at City of Hartford from November 2013 - January 2016. Burgos had been with the city since November 2013. Burgos, a Hartford native, joined the administration after serving as Director of Human Resources and Labor Relations at Capital Community College. He also served 10 years as the Principal Human Resources Specialist for the State of Connecticut Department of Developmental Services, overseeing labor relations for the agency`s 4,000 employees. Burgos holds a Masters in Science from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and graduated cum laude from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico.
