When Jennifer Borislow founded BI in 1982 she was determined to create an agency with a total focus on the client. She began with the premise that service must be provided with a personal touch. Gaunya, who joined BI as a Principal Partner in 2005. Mark brought over 25 years of experience in employee benefits and the healthcare industry and an energetic, entrepreneurial spirit. BI has continued to expand and innovate, due in no small part to an extraordinary synergy between its two principal partners and the quality of the expert team they have assembled. Today, BI is a leading employee benefits agency, serving clients in many states across a wide variety of industries. Jennifer and Mark are nationally recognized leaders within the insurance industry. They are both members of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the premier association of insurance and financial professionals with over 40,000 members from 83 countries worldwide. Both serve MDRT through committee work, where Jennifer is the Past President. Mark is the Past President of the Massachusetts Association of Health Underwriters (MassAHU). Jennifer and Mark also serve on several major insurance carrier broker advisory councils, including the MA Commonwealth Connector to advocate for their clients and other employers. They also volunteer their time to speak on a broad range of topics nationally and internationally.
