As a leading non-profit organization with offices in St. Paul, Minneapolis and Rochester (MN), we work together to develop the strengths within children, adults and families who are navigating life`s greatest challenges. We reduce disparities on the ground level, working to empower those who experience the most barriers to success. Every day, our work makes our community stronger through a unique family-centered approach that helps 40,000 Minnesotans put hope within reach and create a better life for themselves and their families. Stabilizing Families When adults have sustainable employment, they create stability for themselves and provide a solid foundation for the next generation. Each year, Lifetrack helps 1,400 people with disabilities, immigrants and refugees, and people experiencing poverty launch and develop careers that are meaningful to them. Empowering Parents A strong and nurturing parent fulfills the central role in a child’s growth and happiness. Lifetrack offers parenting education and connections to community resources for over 1,500 families experiencing poverty or families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Over 35,000 adults seek our educational resources to balance work and family demands. Fostering Resilience in Children Children are resilient when they are able to move forward after facing minor setbacks, daily challenges, or even a traumatic event. Lifetrack helps over 260 children each year who experience the stresses of poverty find their strengths and prepare for kindergarten. We help over 1,400 children who are deaf or hard of hearing build confidence with role models, American Sign Language instruction, and community support.
The Arc Rockland With over 700 employees, we are among the largest employers in Rockland County and have a solid history of more than 60 years of service to the community. We work hand-in-hand with individuals and families to ensure that each person is an integral member of the community. We provide supports and services to more than 1,300 people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities. Arc offers a Preschool; an Upper School for tweens, teens and young adults with autism spectrum disorders; residential offerings; employment and volunteer opportunities; a program designed specifically for adults with autism spectrum disorders; community activities; senior citizen programming; family resources and support; a medical practice; recreational activities and more. The Arc Rockland staff experience the satisfaction gained in supporting others to realize their potential, as well as their dreams.
The Missouri Baptist Foundation develops, manages, and distributes financial resources to benefit mission and ministry efforts of Baptists in Missouri, in the state, across America, and around the world. Established in 1946, the Missouri Baptist Foundation began with three accounts and assets of about $80,000. It has grown to manage more than $158 million in assets today, representing nearly 1,000 accounts. In fiscal 2014, the Foundation distributed nearly $12 million in principal and income to Baptist and other causes in Missouri and around the world. The Foundation is directed by the Board of Trustees and is operated by staff at its headquarters in Jefferson City and at satellite offices in St. Louis and Kansas City.
