The Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1913 after starting as the Owensboro Businessmen`s Association in 1893. Through the years, the Chamber has been the primary business advocacy group for the community. Today, the Chamber has 1,000+ members and is run by a 23-person board of directors.
