ShareWaves Overview: We continue to build a youth sports foundation that provides positive, game-changing solutions for children in under-resourced communities. We are helping kids play the games they love. Who We Are: ShareWaves is a 501c3 public charity working to deliver high-quality sports experiences to kids in under-resourced communities. Launched almost 3 years ago, ShareWaves is targeting children from any home that experiences multi-layered barriers to sports access and are less likely to receive the support they need. Our Why? The gap between "the haves" and the "have nots" is getting wider. Without access to sports and structured play, kids miss critical benefits, including physical health, social-emotional growth, and academic development. Emergent Issue!!! COVID restrictions further limited access to organized sports and extracurricular activities causing kids to lose an entire year of life-skill development, social interactions, and academic interruptions. ShareWaves is targeting several ways to help kids recover by delivering tangible impact to children suffering and delivering programs of significance to kids in need. 5 Key Initiatives: 1. Provide micro-funding grants to assist in connecting kids to high-quality sports experiences. 2. Build #Ready2Play Training Experiences for Kids and the #Ready2Play app. 3. Create digital content that showcases the "power of sports" to transform young lives. 4. Lead the formation of a KC Youth Sports Alliance (KC-YSA) 5. Host high-energy, one-of-a-kind events that raise awareness and support our mission. Children in our city need us now more than ever as they experience an avalanche of pressure this fall returning from extended periods of social isolation, educational uncertainty, and inactivity caused by COVID. We work to develop strong impact partnerships with like-minded individuals and organizations that want help kids heal.
IMUNON is a fully integrated, clinical stage biotechnology company focused on advancing a portfolio of innovative treatments that harness the bodys natural mechanisms to generate safe, effective, and durable responses across a broad array of human diseases. IMUNON has two platform technologies: Our TheraPlas® platform for the development of immunotherapies and other anti-cancer nucleic acid-based therapies and our PLACCINE platform for the development of nucleic acid vaccines for infectious diseases and cancer. The Companys lead clinical program, GEN-1, is a DNA-based immunotherapy for the localized treatment of advanced ovarian cancer currently in Phase II development. GEN-1 works by instructing the body to produce safe and durable levels of powerful cancer fighting molecules, such as interleukin-12 (IL-12) and interferon gamma (IFN-γ), at the tumor site. IMUNONs platform technologies are based on the delivery of nucleic acids with novel synthetic delivery systems that are independent of viral vectors or devices. We will continue to leverage these platforms and to advance the technological frontier of plasmid DNA to better serve patients with difficult to treat conditions.
