About the Person
Gina Schuster is the Corporate Director of Human Resources at NVN Hotels. In this role, she leads the HR function for the entire NVN Hotels portfolio, a critical role in the people-oriented business of hotel management. Gina is responsible for all employee relations and labor-related matters, as well as all other aspects of the HR function. Before joining NVN Hotels, Gina spent several years with Starwood Hotels & Resort Worldwide working as the Assistant Director of Human Resources for the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. In addition to providing support for over 800 associates, she focused on strategic recruitment and retention, executive leadership development, and labor relations. Most recently, Gina worked as the Director of Human Resources for The McCrone Group, where she started the HR department and established an HR foundation properly aligned with the organization’s vision and culture. With her seasoned background in the human resources discipline, Gina provides the expertise to ensure the proper management of all personnel matters. Gina earned a BA from Lewis University in Organizational Leadership, and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management and the National Association for Professional Women.
