About the Person
Gillian Platt joined Finning International Inc. as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) in July of 2014. Ms. Platt brings to Finning extensive senior leadership experience spanning a variety of industries, geographies and roles. She has held a number of leadership positions in human resources, corporate affairs, strategy and corporate development, including Executive Vice President of Human Resources, North America at Aviva, a multinational insurance company. Ms. Platt also previously served as Vice President, Human Resources Planning and Development for Hudson’s Bay Company and Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Human Resources for Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System. Ms. Platt holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and a Masters of Education.
