About the Person

\r\n Mr. George A. Ramirez serves as Chief Diversity Executive and Executive Vice President at MUFG Americas Holdings Corporation and is responsible for broadening the diversity of the company's senior management and executive ranks. Mr. Ramirez has been the Executive Vice President at Union Bank NA since January 13, 2009 and has been its Chief Diversity Executive since April 2012. Mr. Ramirez served as Market President for the Retail Banking Group, overseeing branches in Orange, Los Angeles and Ventura counties. He served as Executive Sales Manager of Branch Operations Bank Wide. Mr. Ramirez joined Union Bank in 1986 as Financial Services Officer. He serves as Chairman of the Southern California Junior Achievement Latino Initiative and Vice Chairman for the White Memorial Medical Center Capital Campaign. He is Executive Board Member and Treasurer for the Tomas Rivera Public Policy Institute and Ability First. He serves as Board Member of the USC Mexican-American Alumni Association, Orangewood Children's Foundation and The Alliance for Children's Rights. Mr. Ramirez has served on numerous boards for civic and charitable organizations. He attended San Diego State University. He is graduate of LEAD San Diego, as well as the Pacific Coast Executive Banking School at the University of Washington. Mr. Ramirez is graduate of the Executive Development Program in Strategy & Organization at Stanford University.\r\n
