About the Person
Geoff Gerks is the Chief Human Resources Officer for G4S North America and Technology Region. Gerks joined G4S in 2013 as SVP Human Resources for Secure Solutions. In his new role, Gerks oversees Human Resources, Learning and Development, and Health and Safety for all G4S businesses in North America. Gerks is based in Jupiter, Florida, and reports directly to John Kenning, G4S Regional CEO for North America and Technology. Under Gerks` leadership, G4S has won awards for best practices in people management, leadership excellence and training & development. Prior to joining G4S, Gerks spent several years with Brinks as the SVP for HR in their U.S. business. His earlier career included periods with C.R. Bard, a global medical device company, and Coca-Cola enterprises, where he progressed through various HR roles. Geoff joined G4S from The Brink`s Company where he was the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the United States. Previously, he held various executive-level positions, including Vice President of Human Resources for a Division of C.R. Bard Inc. and Corporate Director of Human Resources with Coca-Cola Enterprises. He holds a bachelor`s of science degree from Georgia College and State University. He leads a staff of 17 Corporate Human Resource and Training professionals.
