About the Person
Gary McCarthy is the Director of Human Resources at Winnebago Industries. In his new position, McCarthy will be responsible for implementing human resource policies and programs, managing all aspects of employee relations and development, managing staffing and recruiting, organizational development, performance management, compensation and benefits administration. McCarthy, a 27-year veteran of the company, started with Winnebago as a personnel recruiter and has since held the positions of personnel administrator and personnel supervisor. A native of Grinnell, Iowa, McCarthy is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, where he received a degree in management with an emphasis in human resources.
