Launched in San Francisco in April 2016, Vote.org is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that uses technology to simplify political engagement, increase voter turnout, and strengthen American democracy. To make this a reality, Vote.org identifies roadblocks to voting and aggressively works to clear them. Founded in 1946, what is now known as the Armstrong Group began life as Armstrong County Line Construction, contracting work for power and telephone utilities in Western Pennsylvania. In the 1950s we began to own and operate independent local exchange telephone companies. We expanded into the cable television industry in 1963. The 1980s saw us move into the security, restaurant and real estate development industries. And we’ve continued to expand and diversify. Our most recent addition has been AccuSpec Electronics, a full service electronics manufacturing provider.
