Headquartered in Fremont California, US Merchant Systems was founded in 1992 by three entrepreneurs all of whom previously owned and operated small businesses. Since the company's beginning US Merchant Systems has grown into a major national provider of merchant services having served the needs of more than 100,000 businesses throughout the US. The founders, Lawrence S. Cohn- Chairman, Stuart H. Rosenbaum- CEO, and Richard L. Fenn II- COO, founded US Merchant Systems (USMS) on the principal that small businesses deserve the level of service and competitive pricing previously only available to larger companies.
In 1951, seven Lockheed Georgia employees dreamed of a better way to bank and LGE Community Credit Union was born. Today we serve communities in Northwest Georgia as a not-for-profit financial institution. And unlike a bank, whose profits go to its shareholders, our profits go to our members in the form of better rates and lower fees. We are guided by a strong commitment to provide a better financial future for our members. Since 1937, PrimeWay has been serving the Houston area, including Harris, Fort Bend and Washington counties. Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union, formerly Chemstrand Employees Credit Union and Monsanto Employees Credit Union, was organized April 9, 1954. The credit union is directed by a volunteer Board of Directors presently composed of 13 members. The Board of Directors, elected by the general membership, appoints a Supervisory Committee of four individuals who watch over the financial soundness of the credit union.
