Green Automotive Company is a state-of-the-art niche vehicle design, engineering, manufacturing company, driving innovation in the use of cutting edge technologies to produce zero and low emission vehicles. Its roots can be found in the European business, Liberty Electric Cars, which built the first all electric luxury 4×4 in the UK in 2009, the Liberty e-Range, based on the Range Rover platform. The Company went on to participate in a number of UK government-sponsored and European Union grant-based research programs aimed at developing and improving next generation electric vehicle solutions, thus positioning itself as a leader in clean transport engineering.
