About the Person
Emily Friedman is the Vice President for Human Resources at Altman Vilandrie & Company. Friedman, an experienced HR professional and former employment attorney, is based in the firm`s Boston headquarters. Friedman will oversee all facets of Altman Vilandrie & Company`s human resources operations, including hiring, talent management, employee engagement, benefits, and management of the administrative support functions. In addition, she will help the firm`s leadership team facilitate and manage growth at offices in Boston, New York City and San Francisco. Before coming to Altman Vilandrie & Company, Friedman held a number of HR leadership positions over the past decade, most recently at The Baupost Group. Earlier in her career, she worked as an employment attorney for large law firms in Washington, DC. A graduate of Tufts University (Cum Laude), Friedman earned her JD (Magna Cum Laude) from the Georgetown University Law Center.
