About the Person

Elizabeth Zacharias is the Vice President of Human Resources at Stanford University effective Oct. 19, 2015.   The vice president for human resources reports to the president and manages seven core staff functions at the university: compensation, benefits, staffing, learning and organization effectiveness, human resources communications, employee and labor relations, and HR information systems.   Zacharias has served in human resources leadership roles at Aerojet Rocketdyne, which has more than 5,000 employees, since 2001, and as vice president for human resources there since 2009.   She previously served in human resources management roles at Concero and Claremont Technology Group, both in the Sacramento area.   She holds a B.S. in business administration from California State University, Sacramento.
