About the Person

Elise Maglaughlin provide support to Managers for all recruitment activities associated with the selection and hiring of qualified candidates. Responsible for planning, organizing and developing employment practices and resources to supply the medical staffing needs of Harrison Medical Center; the communication of applicable policies; assisting candidates as they go through the employment process; managing and updating Taleo (our applicant tracking program) and training users on how to utilize the system. Responsible for recruiting nurses and medical ancillary staff. Work closely with the Recruiting Assistant to ensure the completion of all new hire paperwork. Actively participates in recruiting events, community outreach programs, candidate data-base searches, promotional campaigns, job fairs and conferences to source, promote and attract the best-qualified candidates. Recruit candidates utilizing a variety of sourcing methods to include the utilization of our applicant pool, direct sourcing, internet postings and search, networking, employee referrals, visits to schools, and other sources. Develop and maintain professional relationships with recruitment firms and universities. Provide a high level of customer service and guidance when consulting with hiring managers on comprehensive recruitment and staffing issues, policies, and processes. Conduct initial telephone screens to qualify candidates and assess their interest. Interact with recruiting and hiring managers to understand the current and future needs of the organization, directly impacting the successful selection and timely placement of critical positions. Review employment applications and evaluates work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants.
