About the Person

Dianne R. James is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Zions Bancorporation, and Executive Vice President and Director of Human Resources of National Bank of Arizona.   Prior to joining Zions in 2006, she spent ten years in various human resources leadership roles with Harrah’s Entertainment.   Dianne began her career in Pennsylvania, where she attended University of Pittsburgh, and worked a variety of retail and human resources roles at Mellon Bank over a 17 year period.   She is a member of both the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Human Resource Planning Society (HRPS), and holds a Senior Professional Human Resources designation.   Dianne is a member of Arizona Bankers Association Human Resources Committee, Phoenix Women’s Executive Group and a board member and treasurer of the Phoenix Public Library Foundation.
